Be Still

Spring is in the air at
Heather has challenged us to make spring cards this week.
And since my printer decided to die a couple of weeks ago, I was panicking
looking for a spring image that I had already printed. Well I found this adorable little chick peeking
out of an egg, colored it up, matted it, then.....
as I tried to add "a touch" of glitter, my glue pen
EXPLODED
all over my image!
ACKKKKKK!!!!!!
This just added to the stressed state I have been in since starting a new job a
couple of weeks ago. A new job in a completely new field that I am totally UN-experienced in.
So I have to LEARN everything. (I have no idea why they hired me, LOL)
Then peeking out of the corner of my folder that I keep printed digi's in I see the words
BE STILL
I took a deep breath, took a minute to thank God for blessing me with a new job
and
for the opportunity to have this creative outlet on this wonderful design team.
BE STILL
I am so blessed.
BE STILL
Just Breath.
Do you ever forget to breath, catch yourself holding your breath? I always do this when I am stressed.
BE STILL
Everything will be alright.
For I know the PLANS I have for you says the LORD....
To give you
HOPE
and a
FUTURE.
Jeremiah 29:11
BE STILL
Spring is all about NEW beginnings.
I Have been given a new beginning!
Thank you my Heavenly Father!

Thank you Heather for creating this beautiful image.

Fresh Brewed Designs is also sponsoring SWEET SKETCH WEDNESDAY this week!

I'm so sorry that your glue pen exploded on your finished image...I can totally feel for you. But the experience was there for a reason, not just for you, but for all who read this post. ;) What a great reminder of God's plan and presence in our lives. Anyway, the card you shared here is beautiful --and you have just the right amount of glitter on it too! ;P

You are indeed blessed to have a new job during these turbulent times. But when you're feeling stressed, just remember the lesson you shared here with us: Be still, remember to breathe, and know that He is God...and don't forget that His timing is always perfect.

blessings,
Christi

Stacy, sounds like my past couple of weeks, and I am always reminded of this verse..."this too shall pass" and try to BE Still and listen to Him. I think your beautiful card was meant to be and your post to encourage all of us that let life wear us down. Thank you! So glad you could share with us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
