You're My Peep!

Please scroll down to the next post to see the Sweet Sketch Wednesday card.

Wow two post in one day!!! I am surprised too! I wanted to share this new stamp set with you that I got at Clear Dollar Stamps {Here} it is called "You're my Peep" and it has 9 stamps for a VERY good price. Now, I have to tell you I am kinda of a clear stamp "snob" I LOVE LOVE LOVE clear stamps but, hate it when they are cheaply made and hard to stamp with. I was pleasantly surprised with these Clear Dollar Stamps, they are very nice quality, detailed, nicely packaged and they stamp nice clean images. I have been a big fan of the DT team and just love their work. They have great tutorials and really fun challenges you can see {Here}. I am so glad I finally broke down and purchased my first set, now I am afraid I am addicted! Oh, and they carry other stuff in the Clear Dollar store too, not just stamps. You really should go check it out. Ok, on to the card, after I stamped and colored my image I thought it was too bright and stark for the pretty Cosmo Cricket, Material Girl paper that I had picked out, so I sponged the whole thing with CTMH chocolate ink (I think I may have overdid it) then I thought it needed something so I added some of these pretty Prima Flowers that I got at Michael's with my weekly coupon last week. I really like the vintage look of these flowers but I am not for sure how you are suppose to get them in an envelope??? I guess you are suppose to just hand deliver the card? Oh, well... I am off to enjoy some of the pretty sunshine we are enjoying here today.
Hugs,
Stacy

Hi Stacy! {{{{HUGS}}}}

I'm sooooo sorry I've fallen so behind on visiting and drooling! And is your blog different? It looks fab!

This chickie is adorable! I just love the papers and layout you used, and those Prima roses look yummy! (They're quickly becoming a new addiction.)

Sneaking around (shhhh....don't tell the boss!) trying to catch up. If you're free Saturday around 8pm EST, hope you'll come over to BBB on PCP - we'll be there chatting and it wouldn't be a party without you! {{{{HUGS}}}}

Great job with the challenge Stacy. So glad that you are happy with your stamp and you picked a great. I hope you will join us again for more CIC challenges.

Mailing cards can be such a pain... especially all the ones with the pretty doo dads.It costs extra, but I suggest just a padded envelope or a sheet of bubble wrap over top of your card. I often will put an A2 card in a 5x7 envelope so I can put in extra padding.
