For those of you who are still with me "Thank you" and I am sorry I have been gone so long! This is my first attempt at making a card in a very very long time, so please overlook the obvious lack of creativeness. It was a lot of fun to just get my stuff out and play though. What got me back into the card making mood was that my good friend Heather gave me some wonderful images from her new store that you can see HERE. I also was inspired by the great sketch over at Doodle Street that you must go check out HERE. The darling image is from Heather the Paper is BasicGrey Phoebe, and I won it on Cindy's blog "Creating With Heart" she is forever giving stuff away so go visit her HERE. You can't tell from the pictures but I covered the coffee mugs with Liquid Glass that I got from my BFF Y~ you can check her stuff out HERE. In real life the mugs look like they are made of ceramic, they are so shiny and pretty, you will just have to trust me on that. This was my first time using a digi image, and I did have a little trouble with it smearing even though I let it sit overnight....so if you have any tips on that please let me know. I used PaperTrey card stock and Prisma colored pencils, but still ended up with finger prints and smudges, so.....I tried to make it look like shadows, LOL, pretend with me here, Ok? I hope everyone is having a blessed day and I hope to be back soon.
Sincerely,
Stacy

This is such a beautiful card! I am so in love with the paper and the mugs are amazing! Thanks for playing with us at Doodle Street this week!
What a cute card! I've personally found that digi images smear more easily on smoother (aka more expensive) cardstock. :-) I don't know if that's always true, though. I usually print mine on the Georgia Pacific white 110# cardstock from Walmart and I haven't had any trouble. Hope that helps!!
I too use GP cardstock!!! I also had a friend tell me that if you heat set it with an iron and a towel over it (no steam) that that will help. They said a heat gun or hair dryer would curl or warp the paper. you could try that. I love it though!!! it is funny when I see my own images used on cards. This is one of my favorites of mine and I love how you used it. THey look so pretty and the papers are beautiful!!! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Doodle Street!!!!
I am in love! Soft colors, great ribbon and coloring...great job! Thanks for playing!
