Mothers & Daughters Creations Challenge

Another challenge card....this one for the Mothers & Daughters Creations limited supply challenge. I don't know anyone who is expecting or has had a baby recently, so I am not for sure WHY I made a baby card, uhm, guess it will just go in my stash. It didn't say you couldn't use punches, so I did, I hope that is ok????

OCC Sketch

Hello! Well, my "projects" are not coming along as planned.....So, I decided to give them a break and try the sketch challenge over at Our Creative Corner. Wow, those ladies are so talented! I love looking at all the great cards!!!

I mentioned in an earlier entry that my friend Yvonne is going on a missions trip in February, well she had myself and four other ladies over today to help her make little note pads to hand out while she is there. It was so much fun, what a wonderful group of friends she has! I am not for sure but I think we made around 200!!!! Keep her in your prayers.

Butterfly Kisses

I made this card with one of the sweet images that Heather sent me. She reminded me of a butterfly so I had to add some butterfly bling! I didn't take a pic of the inside of the card for you but it says "Sometimes it's the little things that bless our lives the most." That is so true, and I for one need a reminder every once in awhile. Just a sweet little stamped image from a person I met through my blog was so touching it reminded me what a blessing friends can be. Thank you Heather.

On the subject of friends, my dear friend Yvonne is preparing for a missions trip and could use a few prayers regarding finances for the trip and preparing the lesson she will be teaching while there. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

MMM...CUPCAKES!!

Today is my youngest daughters 19th birthday!! Ugh, that makes me feel old. Anyway, I used the occasion to break out my new stamp set and paper that my friend Yvonne gave me for babysitting for her. She is such a sweetheart! Everything on the card is from the new CTMH catty, check out the brads, I am lovin' them! Thanks Y!
